Brian Currie has over twenty years of business leadership experience in multinational environments. During his career, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, innovative and strategic thinking.
Brian began his career working for Gottwald Cranes as a Senior Field Engineer. His first significant leadership role was managing crane construction operations throughout North America, South America, and Europe. In 2000, Brian Currie became the Regional Asset Manager for Kinder Morgan. He devised a database for tracking 10,000+ assets across the network with a replacement value of $80M+.
Brian Currie moved to Florida in 2012 to become the National Fleet Manager for Office Depot. While at Office Depot Brian managed over 2,000 pieces of equipment within 85 distribution centers throughout North America. He was a member of the cross-functional engineering projects team requiring project management capabilities from facility openings, consolidations and engineering implementations.
Brian Currie has been the Director of Fleet Maintenance for Cemex since 2017. Brian obtained his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through Cemex by creating and managing a project that reduced cost by $1M+.
In addition to holding a Business degree he is also a graduate of the Penn State University executive program of Supply Chain Management Development. Currently, Brian Currie sits on the Diversity Committee and Core Content Committee for AEMP, as well as the TMC task force for Developing Key Performance Indicators. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, kayaking, golfing, fishing, and volunteering at his local school district.
