Doug is Vice President of strategy and analytics at Affinitiv, where he leads a team that is responsible for using customer insights and data science to identify industry trends and develop growth strategies for leading automotive companies. Over the past 15 years, he has built acquisition, retention, digital, and loyalty marketing strategies for automotive manufacturers (Toyota and Subaru), automotive retailers (AutoNation, Berkshire Hathaway Automotive), aftermarket retailers (Jiffy Lube, Goodyear), and specialty retailers (Dick’s Sporting Goods, Galyans Sports and Outdoor).
Doug started his career at Ernst & Young Management Consulting, where he developed and implemented business strategies and performance measurement programs for Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries. Doug is a frequent speaker at automotive industry conferences and has published many articles and whitepapers covering a variety of customer-oriented topics, such as digital engagement, customer loyalty, customer experience, artificial intelligence, and personalization. Doug earned his BS from Miami University in Ohio and his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. |
