James Jiloty serves as the Director of Teammates Services & Operations for Brown & Brown, Inc. He is responsible for supporting people strategy development and company talent initiatives. Throughout his career, he has championed enterprise-wide, cross-functional projects and leadership development programs.
James is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and earned an M.S. degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University and an M.S. degree in Leadership Development from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). Before joining Brown & Brown, Inc. James served in a number of leadership roles during which he has built and led the formal functions of organizational development and talent management, served as a human resources advisor with a national healthcare consulting firm, and introduced platforms designed to improve workforce planning, human resources optimization, leadership development, and succession planning. His consulting work and published articles sharply focused on talent analytics and getting the right people in to the right roles. James has served as an adjunct professor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University College of Business teaching human resources management and multicultural workforce management. James believes service amplifies leadership and has been engaged in service to that belief. He is currently chair for the Daytona State College School of Business advisory board. James previously served on the University of Central Florida Health Services Administration advisory board, the CareerSource Flagler Volusia board, the America College of Healthcare Executives of Central Florida board, and is a past president of Volusia Literacy Council. James was the founding president of the Notre Dame Club of Daytona Beach and an active board member. James resides in Ormond Beach, Florida with his wife, Meredi, and their two sons. |
