Area of Expertise
Big Company Challenges, Innovation Tools to Automate Processes, Innovation in Regulated Industries
My career has allowed me to work for, and with, some of the largest and most influential companies in the US. In my mind the seeds of innovation and disruption were sprouted when I went to Amazon.com, where I was trained as a Six Sigma and tasked to once again turn around underperforming departments by leading 2-3 Six Sigma projects while managing those areas. I had the pleasure of participating in the launch of Prime, the Kindle, and leading several major logistical projects such as the first "same-day as release" delivery of Harry Potter 5, the first time an e-seller had ever accomplished this. A unique opportunity came next to combine both my operations improvement and client management experience.

I went to Yazaki North America to transition their Sales Department's culture and processes to better reflect the client's (Toyota) modern approach to continuous improvement. At this time, healthcare was set to explode with the passage of the Afforable Care Act, so I shifted into that industry by joining Xerox's healthcare division as an Account Executive. I was tasked with reviewing and evaluating health insurer's processes and systems to identify where innovation and automation could be leveraged for improved results. While there, I worked with a disruptive company called BroadPath Healthcare Solutions who were early adopters of the remote work movement.

I joined them, and as the SVP of Healthcare Solutions, I revamped the sales processes and systems in concert with a culture reformat and helped grow the company by 5X in 3 years. Now here at Faneuil, I was again asked to analyze the current systems and process and bring innovation and automation into the department while also being an advocate within the executive team for culture change and continual modernization of our approaches.
