My name is Katie Scott, Director of Global Business Services at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. I have spent the last 12 years in a Shared Services environment in the Medical Device Industry and have overseen customer service, purchasing, master data, business analytics and FP&A functions. Having been through multiple acquisitions and divestitures, I have ample experience in process implementation and change management. I've also had the opportunity of leading several system implementations including SAP, Order Automation Tools and COUPA.
What's made me successful in my roles is my ability to take a logical and common sense approach to process and projects. However, the most important aspect has been my ability to build teams with the right skill sets and trust for us to be successful. Employee engagement, accountability and development are necessities to create an efficient organization. |
