Misty Lizarralde is the Vice President of Human Resources for Orlando Credit Union. She is responsible for leading the human resources department, with a focus on developing and executing recruiting, talent acquisition, compensation, and employee relations strategies that represent the organization’s culture and values. As a member of the executive team, Misty contributes directly to all strategic objectives of Orlando Credit Union while maximizing overall organizational effectiveness. She oversees Human Resources projects and initiatives that builds partnerships with leaders throughout the organization while enhancing the employee experience.
Misty has over 12 years of human resources experience with 5 years in leadership roles. Prior to joining Orlando Credit Union, she was the Human Resources Business Partner for Newport, a financial services organization with over 1,500 employees in 26 locations throughout the United States. From 2016 to 2019, she also held leadership positions in the manufacturing industry for Snyder’s Lance and Campbell’s Snacks, a division of Campbell’s Soup Company. Between 2009 and 2016, Misty served in the Human Resources department of Tyndall Federal Credit Union. Some of her accomplishments during that time include improving employee engagement, building out the credit union’s employer brand on LinkedIn, and reducing the costs and time associated with recruiting. Misty holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification as well as a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Troy University.
